meet the maker: courtney hall
Courtney Hall (B.A Anthropology) has been dedicated to teaching, healing and continuously co-creating with the plant world for 15 years. She is a certified herbalist through the California School of Herbal Studies (2010, 500 hr.), a certified flower essence practitioner through Alaskan Essences and a certified Level 1 Nature Based Teacher through ANBE.
She has studied under Nunutsi Otterson, Karyn Sanders of the Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine, David Hoffman of CSHS, David Dalton of Delta Gardens, Matthew Wood (Institute of Herbalism), John J. Slattery, Steve Johnson of Alaskan Essences and Walter Crow. Courtney completed over one year of case studies for her flower essence certification, she has completed two homeopathic intensives, spent three years studying Native American plant medicine in northern California, including completion of a traditional Lakota Vision Quest and a six month sweat lodge training.
She has worked at and managed two apothecaries, and began a small school of herbal medicine on the North Fork of Long Island at Sang Lee Farms in 2018. Courtney specializes in holistic fertility and reproductive health, formulation, flower essence therapy and detox support. She currently works one on one with clients, creates an organic skincare line and spends her days playing and exploring with her beautiful daughter Noey Madera.
